In the framework of the International Agreement on Cooperation of Secondary Schools, students from the Second Gymnasium from Boleslawiec, the Republic of Poland, are staying in the Municipality of Prnjavor. The guests from Boleslawiec arrived at the invitation of the Prnjavor Gymnasium, and today a reception in the premises of the Music School has been organized in their honor.
“I thank the Principal of the Gymnasium and the Mayor for inviting us to visit Prnjavor, and I hope that we will continue with successful cooperation. During our visit, we will try to establish intensive cooperation with the Music School Prnjavor”, said Miroslav Sakovski, principal of the Second Gymnasium in Boleslawiec. Ljubinka Stanic, the Principal of Prnjavor High School, emphasized that after a long time students from Poland are staying in Prnjavor.
“In previous years, it was a tradition that students and teachers from Prnjavor and Boleslawiec visit each other. Two years ago, we traveled to Boleslawiec and now they visit our municipality in return. I hope that we will be good hosts, just like they were”, said Stanić. Today’s reception was also attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of Prnjavor, Darko Tomaš, who emphasized that Prnjavor has the longest cooperation with Boleslawiec, cooperation on a very high level.
“Regarding the cooperation with Boleslawiec, exchange of students is more important than official delegation visits. Their experiences and contacts they establish, represent unbreakable bridges. I am convinced that this cooperation would continue in the future”, said Tomaš.
